GRUKology 83: Bold Statements and Staying Friends

Recently two things have done the rounds on social media. There have been the newly discovered recordings of Martyn Lloyd-Jones urging people from mixed denominations to leave, which you can find here. On a similar theme there has been a very bold statement from William Taylor, Rector of St Helen’s Bishopsgate, London about how to relate to heretical church leadership, you can watch here.

In light of this Darren and Tom reflect on their own experiences in the C of E (especially Tom’s) and how neither the “must stay” or “must leave” are as straight forward as they sound.

Back in the Day, Darren chatted with Matthew Roberts (Trinity IPC, York) and Andrew Grey (Emmanuel Brentwood, now IPC, but wasn’t at the time), about their journey out of the C of E into Presbyterian Churches, you can here that episode here.
